The wagon with the injured and healers in it was making its way back to Riverwood. As they drew close to the town, others were rushing forward to see what they could do to help. When Sigrid arrived she ran around to the back of the wagon and saw Etain and the others injured.

She asked Rosenlyn, “Etain, is she…” Rosenlyn turned and Sigrid saw she had been quietly crying. Her cheeks were soaked with tears. Rosenlyn replied, “She’s still with us Sigrid but barely. We need to get her into the inn. Clear out the main room so we can work on keeping here with us. Can you help? “

Sigrid said, “Of course I can, let me get Alvor too!” Alvor had already prepared himself for returning to the secret room where the generations of his line had held everything for when Alessia’s line had returned. Alvor said, “ I need to get something from the vault. She will need it to recover. “

Sigrid said, “ Alvor, you never said anything about it.” Alvor replied, “ No, because I had prayed we would never need it.” Sigrid told him, “ Go then get it and come to the inn. They are taking her there and Delphine and another that are also injured as well. They must have been inside the Barrow with Etain when that happened.” Sigrid pointed up to where the Barrow used to be.

Kyne’s Champion had arrived and was helping to get the injured ladies into the inn. Others were clearing out the main room of the inn and setting up a central bedding location where they could work freely on Etain. They brought her in while some of the soldiers from Whiterun and some of the Companions helped both Delphine and Celestine, the Knight of Stendarr into the inn too.

Colette asked, “Can we pull some of those beds out of the guest room for these other two. That way we can use this central area to work on all of them and keep an eye on all three of them at the same time. “

Maribelle said, “Good thinking Colette. Why is it taking Tofdir so long?” Then suddenly they heard the popping of multiple sounds as others from the college were coming to help. They followed the stream of activity towards the inn, guessing that was where the others were.

Urag gro-Shub (Librarian and Scholar) He said, “Maribelle, Collete is this her and what is a Blade doing here and a Knight of Stendarr? They don’t look to well either.” Maribelle asked, “Who else is here with you?”

Urag replied, “ Drevis is here, Sergius insisted on coming as well because of her enchanted weapons, tiara, and armor she is said to have.” Then Urag saw the sword and the blood flowing from Etain to the Ruby Red Diamond embedded in its hilt.” Colette, “What is that? She’s feeding that diamond with her own blood? If this is Necromancy?”

Rosenlyn said to them, “No there is a symbiotic connection between the two. One can no longer exist without the other!” Urag asked, “That red diamond is that “The same Red Diamond as that of the Amulet of Kings?” Yes, she is an incarnation of the Alessian bloodline. Her father is in fact Akatosh, the father of time, her mother is Saint Alessia. She is also Dragonborn, their blood flows through her. She is a sister to Alduin and all the other dragons.” Maribelle exclaimed, “Alduin! the World Eater? But he was abolished by the ancient Nords!”

Rosenlyn said, “I would be careful how you speak to her about that once she is recovered. “ Urag said, ” Why is that?” Rosenlyn said, “Did you not feel the concussion of reality virtually shifting a while ago?” Urag responded, “Of course we did, that is why we are here. But what does that have to do with Alduin?” Rosenlyn calmly instructed them, “ Well, this young lady in these two went into Bleak Falls Barrow to face a challenge from Alduin himself. If you go outside and look, you’ll see this great glowing light lighting up the night skies where the Barrow used to be.”

Urag stepped outside for a moment then returned.” Urag said, “ She did that, who commands that kind of power? Then Kyne Champion said, “She did what no one has ever done before. She virtually redefined reality and freed every last soul that still walked those halls. She shattered it into rubble. She even ripped the soul from a Dragon Priest and returned it to Aetherius. Alduin was none too happy when that happened!” Urag asked, “ You mean he was here?” Rosenlyn replied, “ Yes, he’s been here, that is why she is. Have you not been listening?”

Then Alvor and Sigrid showed up along with Dorthe their daughter. They were dressed in their formal clothes again and Alvor said, I need room to perform a ceremony. Maribelle said, “Who are you two?” Sigrid spoke first, “ I am Sigrid wife of Alvor. I am an Acolyte of Mara.”

Sigrid paused and said, “ Alvor my husband has been keeping Alessia’s inheritance to their daughter since the time when she still ruled the Empire in Cyrodiil. It has been kept in a secret vault here in Riverwood.”

Sigrid then said, “ His very distant relative made that sword, the armor, the tiara, and this ring.” Sigrid then said, “By the way you are surrounded by Acolytes. All of us have been sent here to assist her by her mother who spoke with Kyne first. Rosenlyn here is an Acolyte of Azura, Alea is an Acolyte of Hircine, She is an Acolyte of Meridia.”

Maribelle saw the staff she held and asked, “I thought that staff was a myth, no one has seen that for ages beyond remembering.” She smiled, and said, well Meridia had hidden it away until she was awoken.”

Urag said, I need to return to the College and bring some books with me. Some of them will be from the reserves. I cannot do that without your permission.” Maribelle said, “Yes, you have it and if you see Tofdir, please tell him we still need his help!”

Just then he entered the room and said, “Savos Aren is coming here. That is what took me so long. He has been conferring with the Psijic Order. They are sending someone named Leoht!” Maribelle asked, “How did they know about this?” Tofdir said, “Apparently, her father went to them and requested they send someone, a healer first and then others as requested or needed.”

Then Hadvar came in and immediately came over to Etain. He dropped to his knees and asked Collette, “Is she going to recover? “Yes, and you are? Hadvar gently replied, “ I was the one who escaped the destruction of Helgen when Alduin came and level it.” All the mages there said, “What, Helgen is destroyed, “Yes! It is an exceptionally long story and now is not the time for it.” Hadvar reached out to Etain and brushed her forehead and her wavy locks aside.

She then opened her eyes for a moment and said, “Hadvar, she raise her other hand, touched her heart with her finger, then touched the tears running down her cheeks and her fingertip lit up like starlight. She then raised it and touched his lips and a bright light transferred into him. He moaned for a moment touched by something of great power.

Then she said, “My heart to yours, your tears to mine, We are one!” Tofdir exclaimed, Maribelle, she speaks the Elder language, that’s’ impossible! Does anyone here know what she said?” Irileth then walked in the room and said, “She spoke the following words to Hadvar, ‘My heart to yours, your tears to mine, We are one!’” Irileth then said, “ There is a bond between these two, forged by fire and need. She just transferred a part of her essence to Hadvar.”

Maribelle asked, “How do you know that language? There are very few who understand that! I mean it predates that of The Elder Scrolls.” Irileth told them, my father was the greatest scholar that ever lived in Morrowind, he taught me. Really, you’re his daughter?” Rosenlyn said, “Yes, she is.” Alvor said, “ I have something with me that will help her. Her mother said that in darkness when she arises from the ashes of her first trial, place this on her finger and say the words I have given you. It will bring light into darkness and help restore that which she lost!”

“I need room, Colette, you can stay but do not touch her or use magic when my wife and I do this.” Alvor looked at the other Acolytes in the room and said, you need to be prepared to protect her.

When I place this ring on her finger it will ripple through all the realms of Oblivion.” He then turned to the mages, “ Anything you can do to assist would be appreciated.” The inner circle of Acolytes formed around her. Alvor and Sigrid came and knelt before her. Alvor opened an ancient box and lifted a ring from it. In its setting it had a red diamond in the center and surrounded it were multicolored diamonds.

He looked up and said are you ready, we are. The room fell into a deep silence. Alvor said to Sigrid, “Merge your touch with mine. Then Alvor said, “With the light of Alessia and the Blood of Akatosh. I place the ring of the covenant upon your finger. Etain your mother and father said be whole once more. “

They both carefully place the ring on her index finger and a bright light flared to life from it and whole room exploded with a starlight mist that lit up every corner of the inn. Not a single shadow remained. Alvor and Sigrid called out to Etain again. “Come to us, be whole again!” Then Etain began to glow with a great light and levitated above the bedding. Collette said, “her wounds are closing the bleeding has just vanished as if never was there.”

Then she returned to the bedding and her eyes opened. “I sure am thirsty; a little cold water would be nice and then maybe some of that hot honey herbal tea Sigrid.” Dorthe came running over and laid her head upon the chest of Etain. “Oh Etain, I thought we would going to lose you. She looked around as she rubbed Dorthe’s back trying to comfort her. Etain said, “Wow so many important people!”

Etain then looked at Rosenlyn and said, “Was this you’re doing? You know how I hate parties.” Rosenlyn laughed and said, “Welcome home Etain!” Where are Delphine and Celestine? Here in the beds next to you. She sat up then, water please, then she reached out her hand and touched Delphine then Celestine and a great flare of light shone from her ring. Delphine and Celestine sat up and said, “Etain!” “I am here but we need more rest.”

Then she looked around, “Mages from the College.” Maribelle said, “Yes many of us have come, more will be here soon I believe. Etain reached out and touched her forearm and said softly, “Thank you all!” Then her eyes closed and Alvor and Sigrid rose and said, “She will recover now, give her time.”

Just then Savos Aren, the Arch Mage came in and behind him was a Psijic. Maribelle said, “Savos!” Savos said, “ I brought Leoht, a healer of great knowledge from the Psijic Order.” Leoht looked them over. “What happened here, I mean this whole room is filled with a protective type mist. It is from Aetherius itself. Who has the power to do that?”

Then he saw Etain, and said, “Oh my, Akatosh told us that his daughter was in need in Riverwood. That is her? What is her full name?” A light appeared above her. “She is Etain, Saorlaith, Oralaith.” “Etain incarnated from before the first word of The Elder Scrolls before it was born, Saorlaith, of royal blood, a ruler yet to be, and Oralaith, empress and high queen of the coming new age.” Thank you all for helping my daughter. I go now! Please be gentle with her she will need time to fully recover before heading to High Hrothgar, The Greybeards should be able to help her.”

Everyone in the room fell to one knee before this ancient spirit of St. Alessia. Rosenlyn then said, “You know Alessia, your daughter would not like all this bowing!” “Yes, of course she is here to do a reset on the Empire. She leads with a humility never before seen by Nirn. “ Rosenlyn then said, “Yes, we are all very happy she is still with us.!” Thank you Rosenlyn she will need you in the days ahead. We are all here for her!” Then she vanished.

With the help of all the healers, Delphine and Celestine recovered quickly. They both spent their days working to improve their strength and coming to check on Etain, who had still not opened her eyes again. Finally, Delphine finally said to Rosenlyn who was sitting on the age of her bed just looking at Etain.

“Rosenlyn, why is it taking Etain so long to recover? I thought you said that the ring Alvor and Sigrid placed on her would save her! She’s been like this for five days now!” Rosenlyn turned and she had soaking wet cheeks, she had been quietly crying for her friend. “I know Delphine, I know! Get Leoht, Collette, and find Alvor and Sigrid and bring them here, please!”

Delphine replied, “Of course Rosenlyn and I am sorry, I hadn’t realized.” Rosenlyn then said, “It’s okay, well actually, it may not be okay at all.” Rosenlyn then turned to the Knight of Stendarr and said, “By the way, do you have a name. I mean, what am I supposed to call you anyway. One who stands in Silence, Stendarr’s pet…” Celestine reached out and hugged her. “ My name is Celestine Rosenlyn. We’ll get her better. We have to!”

Rosenlyn said, “Your like little Dorthe you knew just when I needed a hug the most. Thank you…” Leoht, Maribelle, Collette, Alvor, Sigrid, Kyne’s Champion and then Savos came in. Hadvar then arrived, “What’s wrong Rosenlyn?”

Rosenlyn said, “Give me a minute and in that moment Sigrid came and said, “Oh Rosenlyn, I sense you need to tell us something about Etain.” Then Hadvar said, let me get her some tea and here take this, Dorthe made it for me, it’s yours now.” Hadvar handed her a soft hand stitched handkerchief which she dabbed her cheeks with.” Hadvar brought her some tea, “She asked, “This is good Hadvar, whose recipe is that?”

It’s Sigrid, my sister. It’s an old family mix we’ve been drinking for generations. Collette, who had been checking on Etain since being called said to all, “She is barely breathing, I think we’re losing her!” Leoht said, let me check but then Rosenlyn said, “No! I think she’s been pulled away by her father. He doesn’t want to lose her.” Several of them said, “What, how do you know that?”

Rosenlyn said, “When we first got her into the wagon after she did all the crazy rearranging reality stuff. I telepathically talked with her.” Savos asked, “How do you do that?” Rosenlyn replied, “It’s a long story and I’ll tell you what I am allowed to in time. Etain told me that her father was trying to pull her away. To the place she had been taken before. Some place outside of Time. She said that he loves me so much and doesn’t want to lose his daughter.”

Sigrid said, “Drink some more tea Rosenlyn it will help.” Rosenlyn then said, “ She told me he couldn’t do it there, that the forces she had set lose were too much a part of Nirn that it was forming some type of static energy interference. She asked me to have them take me back to Riverwood so he can reach me.”

She paused then to let all of that sink in. Leoht asked, “So you believe Akatosh, her father took her spirit away to this other place outside of time?” Rosenlyn said, “Yes, that is why she hasn’t come awake again.” Then she began to cry again, “But she promised me she wouldn’t leave us. I told her how much we needed her, that we couldn’t do this without her. I told her I loved her, she said I love you too Rosenlyn, my absolute best friend!”

Leoht then asked, “Do you think you can reach her again, maybe try and get her to come back?” Rosenlyn said, “Yes, but it’s dangerous for both of us. When I do this she and I will be totally exposed to those of the Dark Court. I know Nocturnal would not do anything as she agreed to stay neutral, but she warned us then, at the Jarl’s palace, Dragonreach that she did not control the others and so would not be held responsible for whatever they decided to do.”

Maribelle said that someone find Urag, Tofdir and anyone else that can be spared. We’re going to need their help to protect them if they decide to move on her. Savos asked, “Are you going to astral project yourself to where she is?” Rosenlyn then said, “Yes, Azura is aware of what is going on, and she said that it may be the only way. She will do what she can and has sent word to Mara, Kyne, and Meridia. However, she also said Etain’s father is not answering their pleas to let them know what’s going on. “

I will need to lay next to Etain, hold her hand, then I need to be suspended and all of you need to shield us both as I try and follow the threads that are tethering her spirit to that place outside of time and our physical world of Nirn. Leoht then said to Savos, “Can you open a communication channel to Artaeum. I think if we can get Sotha Sil to come here he can slow down time enough for this to work better and keep them both safe.”

Maribelle asked, Sotha Sil, is he in Artaeum?” Leoht said, “He arrived after all the strange events began to happen. Then when she walked the halls of Sky Haven Temple and removed the curse that Alduin had placed on her, well, that shocked the tectonic plates of magic all the way back to Artaeum and beyond.”

Delphine looked disturbed. “ I still don’t understand how she did that. I mean that temple was sealed long ago by my ancestors. Only the blood of the Dragonborn could unseal it again.” Tofdir then said, “Well she is the bloodline of Alessia so yes she also has inherited the blood of the dragons.” Delphine said, “ That’s right when Alduin appeared above the remains of Bleak Falls Barrow, he called her sister. He acknowledge that she was one of them!”

Savos exclaimed, “Alduin was there and acknowledged her as his sister. “ Rosenlyn said, “ Yes, we were across the lake waiting for the big event when all of sudden it all happened.” Leoht then said, “Sotha Sil will be here soon. He has agreed to help as he said Akatosh and him have a deep bond. He said he would do anything he could do to help. However, he said he would need help from the mages here to seal the whole inn completely. Even from underneath with wards strong enough to keep or at least slow down any Daedra from the Dark Court.

Then the door opened and Sotha Sil walked in. He said, “I have brought others from Artaeum to assist us while this is going on. Then he looked at Etain and he said, “This must be her, she looks so much like her mother when she was her age.” Several in the room exclaimed, “You knew Alessia when she was young?” Sotha Sil said, “Yes, of course.” Then he said, “Rosenlyn, you are Azura’s Acolyte right. This will be dangerous for you both, if anything happens to stop the process both of you may become trapped in that place beyond time forever.”

Rosenlyn said, “Azura knows I would rather be trapped there with my friend in hope that we might discover a different way back then to live here without her.” Sotha Sil said, “Your grandmother was Royse right?” Rosenlyn replied, “You knew her?” “Yes, Amazing how this whole thing is generational. “ Sotha Sil then said, “I will try and guide you to this place, try and sense me once you separate onto the Astral plane.” Rosenlyn said, “You’ve been there before, “Yes, Akatosh and I would meet there and have long conversations about time.”

Sotha Sil then looked at Leoht and Savos, “place the wards in place first, then once I sense they are complete. I will slow time down within this inn to a barely ticking clock. Colette and Maribelle, you need to suspend Rosenlyn as soon as she lies down and touches hands with Etain. Everyone ready? Let’s begin then.”

Rosenlyn went and laid down next to Etain. She pulled her long knife out and everyone watched this. She used it to cut open her one hand, and it began to bleed. Collette cried, “What are you doing? Let me heal that!” Sotha Sil exclaimed, “No, do not do that! She is about to demonstrate the importance of generational family as it applies to prophecy and the divines.”

Rosenlyn turned her head towards Sotha Sil. She said, “Thank you Sotha!” He smiled and said, “Your welcome, granddaughter of Royze, daughter of Azura and Father whose blood flowed with the line of Septims” There was a gasp as she laid down next to her and placed her hand upon the same one that held the sword. The edge of the sword flared to life as if recognizing another of its blood. Both Rosenlyn’s and Etain’s blood mixed together and the red diamond flared to life and the room was filled again with the mystic starlight that chased away the shadows.

Sotha Sil said, “Collette, now would be a good time to put them in stasis. Everyone else prepare yourself I am getting ready to shift the rules of time inside of this place.” Suddenly, the red diamond on Etain’s tiara came alive and there flowed a bond of fire and blood between it and the one in the hilt of the sword.

Then something unexpected happened, both Delphine and Celestine came, knelt before the two figures, cut their hands, and laid them upon Rosenlyn’s. Everyone gasped, but Sotha Sil said, “Let it be, they are both bound to Etain now. How could they not be! They faced the same trial together. Their blood ran together in a bond during that final conflagration that cannot be undone.”

Then the staff that Sotha Sil held came alive with a shimmering light of color as did the staff of Meridia and the sword of Kyne’s Champion. They then heard Sotha Sil say, “Father of time, my dear friend, Akatosh. This world is bound by your daughter’s sacrifice. “

Sotha paused, then said, “Please allow Rosenlyn, one whose blood is also true bring Etain home to us. We are prepared to give all, Even our own blood to protect that which you treasure more than anything else, your daughter Etain.”

The ground began to rumble from the forces being set loose in the Sleeping Giant Inn of the sleepy town of Riverwood. The tree of life that Etain had created in the grove began to twist and grow to a tremendous height. It’s branches spread out. Then incredibly beautiful flowers were blooming at the tips of its branches.

It now stood so tall and wide that it virtually sheltered all of Riverwood. There were harmonies of song coming from the petals of its flowers as the winds began to blow them and they sprinkled themselves all across Riverwood.

Everyone there that day bowed in homage to this miracle that had been witnessed. A coalescence of powers that were set loose in the inn were beginning to form around the figures whose hands had all touched in an eternal bond. Sotha Sil cried, “I feel them retuning, thank you my friend, Akatosh, and father of Etain. The suddenly swirling ribbons of starlight formed around them and then Etain and Rosenlyn sat up holding each other in bond formed long ago.

Then the mystic starlight that had been swirling around the room began to rain soft pedals of flowers that were now falling in to surround them from a great hole hat had blown out the roof of the inn. Then they heard Etain say. “My sisters, you came for me! Thank you!” There was silence in the room as everyone watch in silence, all witness to yet another show of divine intervention to save their daughter.”

Then Etain said, “You know Rosenlyn, I could eat a whole pot of that delicious stew of yours. “ Everyone laughed and the word was spreading all across Riverwood that Etain was whole again. Rosenlyn then said, “You know, I bet with Sigrid and Gerdur’s help I can get us a large pot of that going.”

Then Etain looked around her and said, “Hello, who are all of you?” There was laughter all throughout the room as they all realized that she didn’t know any of them. Dorthe than came running in and she hugged Etain. I knew you were going to be okay when the tree began to twist and grow and then it grew these great flowers and the petals began to fall like snow. As soon as your better you need to come outside and see it. She looked up through the large hole in the roof of the inn and saw the great branches swaying in the wind. “Is that it above us now?” Dorthe said, “Yes, that’s it!”

Etain then looked around the inn. “Can we pull together some tables and get the food going, and can someone bring me something to drink? Maybe some hot herbal tea. I sure am thirsty!” She looked at Sotha Sil and used her sword as a crutch to help her stand up. She then leaned in and hugged him and said thank you. My father said visit him when you get a chance.” Sotha Sil said, “I heard you were different.”

Sotha then said, “You know high elves do not normally show emotion in this way. However, I think I could grow to like it.” Etain laughed then stood up on her tippy toes and said, “Bend down, you’re so tall, even for a High Elf.” He did so and she kissed him on the cheek. That is from my mother, she is grateful that you came to help, that you all came.”

Then she said, I better sit down, can you help me to a chair. Sotha Sil wrapped one arm around her and he, Delphine, and Celestine helped Etain over to a chair. Rosenlyn was already busy with helping Sigrid and Gerdur preparing food in the great pot hanging over the fire pit. Thus, the beginning of what was to be an exceedingly long journey had begun.

Etain looked at Gerdur and asked, “The new skylight above looks nice, but I think we’re going to need to have that repaired or were all going to get very wet during the first shower that decides to come by. Can Hod fix that with some help from some of the others here?” Gerdur said, “Of course, I’ll go get him working on it right away Etain!”

The room was put back together with everything having been shifted down closer to where the bar was located. Hod and some others were repairing the roof, and the food and drinks were just about ready to be served. They all sat down and Etain once again, surprised everyone by asking everyone there to take the hands of those sitting to the left and right of them. She had observed that many of the mages were not comfortable with it.

Etain spoke up, “The meal will not begin until you complete the circle and allow me to teach you something about me and about yourselves.” She waited and she saw there was still hesitation. Etain told them, “I sat among Jarls and Stewards, Military Officers, and others in Whiterun. Even though they were uncomfortable they did as I requested and believe they learned something of value from it.”

She paused, a few more complied but not all. She stood up then went to the pot and served her own bowl, poured her own tea. I am going to the grove to have my meal alone. I forbid anyone to share a single thing about who I am, what has happened, none of it until everyone here learns to grasp the importance of what I am trying to teach you.”

She took her stuff and left the inn, no one moved or said anything at first. Then Rosenlyn stood and she said to them all, “Nice going folks, you just hurt the feelings of the person who will save us all someday.” Savos said something first, “We know nothing of her! Where has she been all these years? What has led her to this place? How does she command such power to collapse mountains and speak with dragons?”

Rosenlyn grabbed her stuff and said, “I am going to join Etain. If you want to learn any of that, you might want to lead with the same humility she has just shown to all of you. Oh, and just a warning, the last time someone insulted their daughter. Her father and mother warned everyone there.

That if anyone hurt her again, he would level their cities into Ash. I know you believe you are all powerful but ask your friend Sotha Sil if he would be willing to test her father’s restraint. You might be surprised by his answer!”

“Enjoy your meal.” Rosenlyn then left and went to join her friend. She knew where she would find her. She didn’t go to the grove but instead went to the bridge that crossed over Whiterun river. She found her sitting cross legged eating her stew and sipping her tea. Etain, can I join you? Etain turned and looked up at her. Her cheeks were stained with tears. Rosenlyn immediately came and wrapped her arms around Etain.

Rosenlyn then said, “They’ll come around, give them time Etain. Then she pulled back and sat down next to Etain and said, besides, I just gave them a piece of my mind” Etain said, “Thank you Rosenlyn, they don’t deserve even that.” Then Etain smiled, “I hope you didn’t leave too much behind with them; I am going to need a lot of it to keep my word to my father and mother.” They both sat out there on the bridge watching the sunset and the moons rising. No one came after them, no one disturbed them.

Etain then said, “ I want to take a small group with me to High Hrothgar and soon. Since they all seem to be unwilling to share, none of them are coming. I need some input Rosenlyn.” Rosenlyn asked, “Do you want me to come with you? “Of course I do, you are my grounding rod, my anchor.”

I think you should take Alea, Delphine, Celestine, myself, and Hadvar with you.” “Why Alea vs. Fanedal?” Rosenlyn said to her, “I believe if you ever hope to separate her from following Hircine. You will need to show her a more meaningful path in which she can believe. I think she already having second thoughts but so far she has just been one of your healers. I sense she is capable of so much more.”

“Also, if we’re going to do this it needs to be soon, we can take our time getting there. It is a long journey anyway. I would approach each of them separately so no one else suspects what is happening.” Etain was quiet for a moment then said, “ I need to get word to Kyne’s Champion, but can you do that for me?” Rosenlyn said, “Of course but why me?” “ I want it to be his decision to come with us, I don’t want him to fill obligated. All of you, I trust will come because you want to. I believe he is conflicted a bit. I sense it from him.”

Rosenlyn asked, “In what way Etain?” Etain thought a moment then said, I am breaking all the rules, even those as they apply to the divines. He worries of what place he or even the divines in this age I am to bring about will have. Also, he knows what the original Amulet of Kings was used for. He fears that I too will relight the Dragonfires, thus preventing the Daedra from interfering in any of the affairs of Nirn.”

Rosenlyn said, “That is an interesting perspective but that tells me they really don’t understand you real mission here do they?” “No, I am afraid of saying what that is, in part it’s because it is something that has to evolve.

Father and mother are looking to me to learn from all of them, to gain an understanding of Nirn and its people and cultures that they could never gain being who and what they are.” Rosenlyn said, “Thank you Etain for sharing all of that with me.”

Etain then said, I do not want to return to the inn tonight, can we go to your campsite instead?” Rosenlyn said, I have to at least leave word with your most trusted as well as Alvor, Sigrid, and little Dorthe. I don’t care if the mages get upset but them, no, we shouldn’t go without letting them know. I will wait for you up near the standing stones we can make our way from there.”

Rosenlyn said before going, “Etain, find a safe place away from the stones. Remember they act as a sort of conduit for you and me. I wouldn’t want some other reality shaking event to take place before we even get started!”
